Fox’s X5 rod series uses advanced carbon techniques that ensure the rods are stronger, lighter, thinner and more powerful. In these advanced carbon techniques, multiple thin layers of carbon are used and with nanofiber technology, they are electrically bonded together during the curing process. The eyes and joints are additionally reinforced with an extra layer of carbon which should ensure that they can take a beating. While casting, these rods quickly recover to their natural shape for more accurate casting over long distances. Despite this, the rods have a very good action. The first eye of the rod series measures 50mm, the top eye of this rod series is 16mm.
