A coating processed with tungsten makes this leader sink well. The whole has a medium stiffness which makes this hooklink universal. Downforce in the name already indicates that the whole falls nicely flat on the bottom. The coating is fairly abrasion resistant and easy to strip. With its 20lb nicely fine in diameter and good to use on almost all waters. In addition, this hooklink is not shiny so it will fall nicely against the bottom even in clear water.
Downforce Tungsten Coated Hooklink…the name says it all: a coated hooklink with tungsten in the coating. In this way the hooklink sinks well, the coating can be stripped and if you pull the knot slowly, preferably moistened before pulling, the coating will not “snap” as quickly. The inner core is flexible and does not fluff, which simplifies tying of hooklinks.
