The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Tataki is a light, sensitive squid rod with a fast, responsive tip action, ideal for giving small tataki and squid jigs a lively action. The 24/30T carbon blank combines a lot of sensitivity with enough power to safely reel in large squids, even when using braided line. Thanks to the SeaGuide components, comfortable EVA handle, and compact transport length, this is a very practical rod for vertical and tataki fishing from the boat.
