When jigging, you cast a small shad on a lead head, which you then float to the bottom. Then you retrieve it with a few twitches each time. The moment of sinking/floating is often the trigger for perch and zander to strike. The Ultimate Chikara Jig is a perfect set for jigging. The 30T carbon blank has a very fast action and allows for easy and highly focused casting and jigging lures. The Spirit Spin reel fits this rod perfectly. This lightweight powerhouse turns quietly and smoothly and has an extremely low weight. The 4 bearings make the reel run effortlessly, while the sensitive drag system offers perfect control during a drill, with the ergonomic rubber handle providing plenty of grip. A reel of top quality braided line is part of the deal. A stylish, quality set for fishing a variety of predatory fish!
