The Multi Lead Clip is a universal lead mounting system that can be both set up to release the lead like a conventional lead clip, and used as a running system to confuse even the shyest carp. The Korda team that fishes at Gigantica every year has been using this “running” system for many years and it has proven to be one of the very best set-ups for hooking the very pressured carp. The running method works by removing any pivot point that might help the carp shake the hook loose; the lead continues to slide across the main line as the fish pulls against it. To release the lead when stuck, use the supplied pins to attach the swivel or Kwik Link into the clip. This locks the lead clip and allows the lead to be ejected. Compatible with all tail rubbers in the Korda range, but make sure the clip is wet before pressing it on and never push the tail rubber all the way on for fish safety. For ‘running’ fishing, do not push the Swivel or Kwik Link tight, allowing the lead to slide over the main line.
