Eco Sinkers Pear is a very high quality lead substitute used primarily for long distance carp fishing. The pear is completely lead-free and made from concrete mixes, among other materials. The grippa has a pear shape with a balanced center of gravity to ensure that everything sinks to the bottom at the same time. The pear is available in a variety of weights and has a higher density than traditional lead so a relatively smaller pear will already have a higher weight than a piece of lead. Other advantages of the pear are its environmental friendliness and its magnetism which makes it easy to find with a magnet which saves money and is better for water quality. By the way, the flat profile of the bottom of the pear makes it less likely to sink into softer bottoms. The pear features a high-quality, universal swivel that can be easily attached to the rig. Another advantage of the pear is the fact that it can absorb dips and liquids through its porous structure. This allows extra attraction to be created underwater.
