The Westin Carolina Rig Kit is a ready-to-use Carolina setup for targeted fishing with soft baits for perch and zander. The rigs are fully pre-tied with Westin components and consist of fluorocarbon leaders, bullet weights, offset hooks, and matching terminal tackle. This makes the set immediately deployable without needing to tie anything yourself. The Carolina rig allows the bait to be presented freely and naturally over the bottom, while the weight moves independently of the bait. This ensures sensitive bite detection and controlled presentation when dragging slowly or retrieving. The 10-gram variant is suitable for calmer conditions and shallower water, while the 14-gram version offers extra bottom contact in deeper water, wind, or light current.
