These SP1 reels are equipped with SPRO’s best S//DRIVE drive which guarantees an extremely smooth and seamless operation. Only high quality components such as premium stainless steel ball bearings and a Japanese quality stainless steel main shaft were used in the assembly. The housing is made of Air Grade aluminium and fitted with carbon cover, which makes the reel light in weight as well as extremely strong. The parts on the outside of the reel are also made entirely of aluminium. For example, the drag knob and the lock nut of the handle are made of one piece of solid aluminium.
