The Abu Garcia Abumatic STX is designed to perform even better! The Abumatic platform takes the spincast design to the next level. With the introduction of the “Snubberless” casting system, the engineers have been able to increase efficiency and reduce line wear.

The closed-face reel is a classic type of reel. These reels are generally very comfortable to fish with for light fishing thanks to their super smooth drag system. They are ideal for predator fishing and, for example, match fishing. The closed face offers advantages such as preventing tangles caused by wind.

The reel comes pre-spooled as standard with Berkley® Trilene® XL® monofilament line.
