Shimano Aero X5A Distance Feeder Rod

The Shimano Aero X5A Distance Feeder has been developed for feeder anglers targeting greater distances without requiring an extremely heavy feeder. These Distance models are designed to combine casting range, control, and sensitivity, making them highly versatile for use on canals, large lakes, and calm to moderately flowing waters. The blank is constructed from High Modulus Carbon and reinforced with HPC and Nanosheet technology, resulting in a tight and responsive character. Diaflash in the butt section increases torsional rigidity and contributes to accurate casts and controlled fights. Despite its increased power, the tip remains sensitive, clearly transmitting bites through the quivertip. The rods are finished with Seaguide anti-tangle guides for optimal line control and a Fuji VSS reel seat for secure reel attachment. The combination of Rubber Cork and EVA in the handle ensures comfort and grip during longer sessions. Each rod is supplied with three Shimano Aero X quivertips, allowing easy adjustment to feeder weight, distance, and conditions.
