Korda Basix Hair Rigs Wide Gape Barbless

The Korda Basix Hair Rigs Barbless are available in several variants. These are ready to use barbless rigs that can be used straight out of the package. Just add a bottom bait or wafter, and you’re ready to fish! The rigs are knotted with the camo green coloured Basix Coated Hooklink material. A small part of the leader has been stripped off the Basix Wide Gape hook, this allows for more freedom of movement and a better chance of getting a good hook. The leader has a supple hair that has been fitted with a piece of silicone, which keeps it in place and reduces the risk of tangling. The length of the hair is optimized for hookbait sizes that match the chosen hook size. Hook size 8 is designed for 12mm baits, size 6 for 15mm and size 4 for 18mm. Each hooklink is fitted with different-sized Hair Stops and different-sized Extenda Stops. These allow you to adjust the length of the hair to accommodate other sizes of bait. At the end of the leader a loop is made and a Basix Anti Tangle Sleeve is attached. With this you can easily attach it to a Basix Lead Clip Leader or Basix Lead Clip Action Pack setup.
