Korda has managed to make the Kurv Shank even stronger than the standard Kurv Shank. The XX is two wire thicknesses thicker than the original hook! The hook features a razor sharp point and a micro barb.
Due to the special shape of this hook it is virtually impossible for a hooked carp to spit it out again and lose it. The curved shape is designed in a special way so that the hook remains perfectly in the lower lip. This shape also gives the hook the so-called “line aligner” effect. This allows the hook to be fished without a shrinktube.
The Kurv Shank can be used for many different rigs, such as the blowback and the KD-rig. The point of this hook is very sharp, strong and very reliable, this combined with its special shape makes this hook the favorite hook of many European top anglers.
