Penn Squall® II Casting/Stalking Rod 1.68m

The PENN Squall II series is a series of rods designed to cover all drift and trolling styles from the boat, and perfectly matches the PENN Squall II reels. The rods are constructed with a one-piece tubular glass blank and a solid rod tip to prevent breakage. The heavy-duty 3-leg stainless steel SeaGuide aluminum oxide guide eyes are extremely strong and provide perfect line management during the fight of even the biggest bluefin tuna. For added comfort, Squall II Boat rods feature the triangular EVA front grip to reduce rod rotation under pressure. Heavy-duty graphite (on 20-50 lb model) and machined aluminum reel mounts (other models) provide a secure grip on the reel, while the gimbal suspension provides added strength and a secure connection during the fight. The smooth butt prevents damage to the rod in the rod holder, while the Bent-butt models feature a short aluminum curved butt, making them great for standing up to fight a big fish as well.
