This medium/fast action rod is at home with far casts with a baitcasting reel, making it ideal for large lakes, rivers and fishing from shore. Westin has kept the classic and popular premium cork handle design, but upgraded to Seaguides XQG/XOG guides and a rubber-coated FUJI ACS reel seat for best performance in all weather conditions.
