The new sea rod series Magna Nordic Neo by Balzer is impressive. Besides the looks being great, these are just very strong and good rods to fish with. That’s because IM-8 carbon was used, making the rods strong but keeping them slim. The Duplon handles feel nice and are very durable. Titanium SIC guides are used on the blanks, making them perfect for fishing with braided line as well. These rods go perfectly with the Magna Nordic NEO reels and baaitcast reels!
The Balzer Magna Nordic Neo Heavy Pilk is an extra strong pilker rod for fishing with a reel. Fishing on the salt with a pilker remains one of the most effective ways to catch, for example, cod from the boat. Which this rod des great! The ideal casting weight is between 100 and 250g. This version is the Travel model of the “regular” Heavy Pilk, is slightly shorter (2.00m instead of 2.40m) and three-piece instead of two-piece. Easier to transport in the suitcase!
