The Sonik Insurgent Recon is a quality carp rod, designed without compromise using the latest Toray high modulus carbon blanks. The rod combines maximum performance with the convenience of a shorter transport length. The Recon technology uses a double telescopic end and combines this with a Vari-Taper joint so that these rods feel like a normal 2 section rod. The rods also incorporate a multi-directional carbon layup, which allows the tip to come back faster, this improves distance and accuracy.
